I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this cooking class ended up being such a pleasant surprise. The teacher was super chill, the whole vibe was relaxed, and the food actually turned out really great. Booking online was easy too, which made the whole thing even better...

Sur La Table has a solid mix of cookware, kitchen gadgets, and baking supplies. I usually go in looking for one thing and end up spotting a few other useful items too, which is always nice. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that there’s a lot to sort through, so it can feel a bit overwhelming if you’re just trying to make a quick decision. But with that much variety, I guess that’s kind of expected.

I figured it would take a while to get here, which would’ve been fine, not like I was in a huge rush or anything. But the pan showed up in just two days, so that was a really nice surprise.

I stopped into Sur La Table to look for a new pan and a few baking things, and it was a nice store to wander around in. Everything looked clean and organized, and they had way more options than I thought they would, which was cool but also kinda made me want to buy too much haha.

The staff member I talked to was friendly and helped me out, but it did take a bit to actually find someone. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying when you’re standing there trying to figure out which pan is actually worth it.
Checkout was the part that felt slowww, especially since there were only a few people in line. Prices were a little high too, so overall I’d say it was fine and I’d probaly go back, but it wasn’t like an amazing trip or anything

My first thought was, okay, Sur La Table wins this one. I’d been trying to find this pan everywhere and it was sold out, but they had it in stock and ready to go. Checkout was quick and painless too, so no complaints from me.

She explained everything in a really normal, easy-to-follow way and never made anyone feel silly for asking questions, which I appreciated because I am absolutely the person who will ask where the whisk went while it is directly in front of me. She was patient, friendly, and somehow kept the class moving without making it feel rushed. Also, side note, I left weirdly hungry even though we were literally cooking, which feels unfair. Anyway, I’d definitely book another class, mostly because the teaching was so good.

I ordered a pan from Sur La Table and it got here on the day they said it would, which was nice. The box looked fine and everything was in good shape. That part was pretty much all I needed, so no complaints from me...
